Our Tours

Cambanoora Co offers a choice of tours showcasing the Cambanoora (Condamine) Gorge and the Killarney district.

Our signature tour is the Cambanoora Gorge Experience - a two and a half hour tour following Spring Creek to the highlands surrounding Killarney, through waterfall country and cool temperate rainforests to the Head of the Condamine, before returning through the 14 river crossings of the Cambanoora Gorge.

We also offer sunrise tours & champagne sunset tours for special occasions, winery tours to Stanthorpe from Killarney and other specialist tours. Find out more about our tours here.

About the Gorge

The Cambanoora Gorge is also known as the Condamine Gorge and locally referred to as "The Crossings". It is a dramatic cliff lined gorge running from the Head of the Condamine through to the Killarney area. One of the earliest records of this area being referred to as "Cambanoora" is on a postcard from the early 1900's.

The Head, Gorge and Killarney areas were settled by pioneering families in the 1850's. The Gorge was the home to many families working in the timber and dairy industries.

The Gorge commences at the Head in stunning grazing country, traveling through 14 River Crossings, gentle riversides and tumbling creeks, and out to cultivation at the bottom of the gorge.

Cambanoora Co offers guided 4WD Tours of this region, giving you the opportunity to understand more about this beautiful area.

But most of all we give you the opportunity to enjoy!

About Your Guide

I have lived in Killarney for most of my life, and am fifth generation in the district. My family traces back to one of the early settlers in this region, Cornelius Brosnan. I grew up exploring the hills, valleys and creeks surrounding Killarney, and hearing the stories of the pioneers of this area. After spending time living in the UK and travelling all over the world, I decided to return to Killarney and introduce visitors to this beautiful area.

I am very proud to follow in the footsteps of my ancestors who lived and worked in the Condamine Gorge.
